Cortex Native

Native control plane clients for macOS, Windows, and iOS

Created and developed by Asır. Independent product — not an asir0z module.

Overview

Platform-native desktop and mobile applications providing real-time telemetry, fleet management, and operator approval controls.

This page is a creator-authored profile on asir0z.com — not the product application.

Why it exists

Web dashboards often introduce latency, lack OS-level notifications, and require constant browser tabs. Cortex Native delivers dedicated macOS (SwiftUI), Windows (WPF/C#), and iOS applications tailored for zero-overhead operator oversight.

What it does

  • Native macOS client built with SwiftUI, supporting live task monitoring, approval queues, and system tray integration.
  • Native Windows client built with C# and WPF (.NET 9), providing multi-tab fleet health, service inspectors, and typed control actions.
  • Physical iOS client target for on-the-go fleet visibility and critical alert notifications.
  • Direct SSE streaming and JSON-RPC communication with local and tailnet bridge endpoints.

Development approach

  • Respect native OS paradigms rather than lowest-common-denominator cross-platform wrappers.
  • Operator-first safety: approvals require explicit confirmation before sensitive actions execute.
  • Honest offline and error states with deterministic reconnection semantics.
  • Strict credential encapsulation using platform keychains and isolated credential stores.

Current public state

macOS and Windows clients compiled and verified in daily local operation; physical iOS client deployed and verified on test hardware.
